Required certificates in Low Acid Canned Food Production, Hazard Analysis and advanced HACCP specified by NZFSA are currently held by staff on site.

PetfoodNZ products are made from 100% NZ, free range Beef, Lamb, Venison, Fish, Possum, Chicken and/or Turkey. We will work with distributor requirements to provide any specific recipe options such as vegan or vegetarian options, as well as specific diets tailored for medical purposes. We can provide nutritional diversity through novel ingredients. As well as the meat items and dry ingredients, we also offer the ability to add an abundance of vegetables grown right here in NZ, taking advantage of seasonal diversity. We use the purest quality ingredients to achieve the purest concentration of nutrition.

Ac Petfoods - Auckland/Waikato

AC Petfoods buys and processes cows, horses, bobby calves and sheep to produce meat products and meat by products to sell to the petfood industry. AC Petfoods is a family owned and operated Petfood Abattoir that has been running in the Waikato for over 22 years. We are based in Ohaupo and service the farming community in the wider Waikato region.

Petfood Auckland

The main products include 25kg boxes of boneless beef, veal, chicken and horse meat. By-products include heart, liver, lung, kidney, ears, necks and brisket. Product is sold to wholesalers who further process and sell to end users. The products are targeted at cats and dogs and any animal that can benefit from having raw meat in their diets. You can purchase a range of petfood from our Ohaupo factory. The majority of our products are sold in 25kg boxes, either meat pieces, minced product or a variation of bones. We have now added chicken products to our range, we can offer you chicken mince or whole chickens.
